The Access Service provides a very high speed connection between a school’s network and UQSchoolsNet, through a direct connection with The University of Queensland.

Schools are being connected to UQSchoolsNet on one of the fastest technologies available today: up to one gigabit per second Ethernet, on fibre optic cables. As technology evolves, other types of connections may also be used in future.

Best of all, this service is available at no charge to schools in the UQSchoolsNet implementation program. This is part of UQconnect's contribution to UQSchoolsNet.
